“Extending the window treatments around the entire seating area assures that the windows remain a focal point, leading your eye to the outdoors.

“We used a medium weight wool for this primary bedroom. While remaining neutral the fabric has a hand that you can ‘feel,’ even at a distance, and it adds a warmth and coziness that a linen in a similar tone would not achieve, per example. My preference for drapery panels is to have them ‘kiss the floor.’ I want them to look like they extend all the way to the floor without actually touching the flooring, which would cause the fabric to buckle and the panels to not hang as perfectly. Custom draperies are an investment, so it’s crucial to make decisions that you will love for years to come.”
